A Day In the Life of a Ph.D. student #WomenInSTEM #shorts

Today Karen Piranha, a first-gen Ph.D. student, took us along on a day in her life in the lab. 👩‍🔬 Karen studied Biological Sciences at CSUEB College of Science and is currently a Ph.D. student at the University of Hawaii at Mano. She hopes to one day establish her own research lab where she can further explore the world of microbiology, contribute to the scientific community, provide mentorship to underrepresented minorities in STEM, and make academia an inclusive place. . . . #womeninscience #latinasintech #girlswhocode #womeninstem #womenintech #wom… Video by YouTube channel.
