About Global Women’s Week
Global Women’s Week is an international week of events, talks, workshops, performances and celebrations held every year from 1 to 8 March around International Women’s Day. A flagship program in Toronto and online is joined by affiliated events hosted by organizations around the world under the Global Women’s Week banner. The initiative is led by a founding team with three decades of women’s programs, media and events, with Persian Awards as a key partner; the 2026 Women Summit marked its official beginning.
Use of this paragraph in coverage is welcome. Please refer to the event as “Global Women’s Week” (not abbreviated in first reference).
