In a collective call for action, The National Coalition of Girls' Schools (NCGS) invited its members to have a "moment of voice" to honor Malala Yousafzai's brave and unwavering commitment to girls' education. A moment of voice rather than a moment of silence felt the proper way to honor a young woman who has repeatedly risked her life to make sure girls have not only an education but also a strong voice in this world.
